Phone Number: The best phone number to call Direct Express Customer Service is 888-741-1115. Alternatively, you can also look at the back of your card for the most up-to-date customer support telephone number and instructions. You can call them for the following services:

- Reporting lost or stolen cards - Balance inquiries - PIN changes - Transaction history requests - Registering a complaint about a card issue - Questions about card usage - Questions about international card usage

Support Hours: Customer Service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are calling to enroll in Direct Express, then you have to call this number – 1-800-333-1795 (they are available from 7:00 AM CST to 7:00 PM CST Monday-Friday).

Instructions: Call the toll free number (888-741-1115) then select option 3 immediately when the auto attendant comes on. You will be then directed to talk to a live person. Note that hold times can be long, with some customers reporting a 30 minute or more wait time before they are able to talk to a human.
