JetBlue Airways is an American low-cost airline that made big waves when it launched in 1999. The company is based in the Long Island City in New York. It’s major hug is New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. JetBlue Airways mainly serves destinations in the United States, along with flights to the Caribbean, The Bahamas, Bermuda, Barbados, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico. In total, JetBlue serves 91 destinations in the U.S., the Caribbean, South America and Latin America, which makes it one of U.S Based airlines with an extensive service to the Caribbean. JetBlue has always made outstanding customer service one of it’s hallmarks as a company. This was slightly tainted in 2007 when a Valentine’s day storm led to major cancellations and customer frustrations with the airline. They have since recovered, including the setting up of a customer bill of rights.
